How Profflow knows a tax is paid
From the bank statement: a payment to the Tax and Customs Board of about the amount, or naming the month.
A tax counts as paid when the statements show a payment to the Tax and Customs Board, on or before today, of about the obligation’s amount or naming its month. A line that names one tax never pays another.
If the statements stop before the due date, Profflow says nothing either way: it does not call a tax unpaid when it simply has not seen that far.
Estonian taxes are usually paid to the prepayment account, which the Board then uses for what is due. If you pay in one sum for several taxes, check the status against e-MTA.
