Profit and loss

Revenue, costs, payroll and profit for a month, a quarter, the year to date or twelve months — against the period before or a year back.

Reports → Profit and loss is worked out from issued invoices (revenue without VAT), approved bills (costs without VAT) and payroll (gross pay and the employer’s taxes). Drafts count in nothing.

  • Choose the period: a month, a quarter, the year to date or the last twelve months.
  • Compare it with the period before or the same period a year back; every line shows the change.
  • Export to CSV for your accountant.

Profit here is counted by invoice date, not by when money moves. What the bank actually received and paid is in the cash flow statement.
